Location: Church Point waterside house on the Northern Beaches NSW Year: 2020
The Bartroff kitchen knows exactly where it lives. Designed for a waterside setting at Church Point, this kitchen renovation places a window where a splashback might otherwise go, letting natural light do the work and keeping the view inside the room at all times. Where tiled splashbacks do appear, they earn their place with texture and easy-clean practicality behind the cooktop.
Grey stone benchtops tie the black and white palette together with quiet authority, while a trio of black pendants draws the eye upward and adds height to the space. Bold lines in the cabinetry joinery create visual dynamism without complicating the palette. White House Flowers on the bench bring life and colour to a kitchen that is already full of both.
A custom kitchen design shaped by its setting. Every decision in this Church Point renovation reflects it.
